Common questions

My map isn’t filling in while the app is closed. In iPhone Settings › Everyroad › Location, choose “Always” and turn on Precise Location. Make sure recording isn’t paused on the map.

A straight line cuts across my map. That’s usually a GPS jump. Tap the eraser on the map and drag over it, or use Clean Up to remove stray lines in the area on screen. Tap Undo if it takes too much.

A flight shows as a gap. In the eraser, choose Connect and tap where the flight started and ended.

How do I bring in my past travels? In My Map, use Add a Past Trip, or import a Google Maps Timeline export, GPX, KML or CSV tracks, photo locations, or drone flight logs.

How does Convoy work? Tap Convoy on the home screen, start a convoy, and send the link or 6-digit code. Everyone in it sees each other on the map until they leave. Every convoy ends on its own after 12 hours.

How do I share my ETA? While you're getting directions, tap Share ETA, pick who gets it, and Everyroad opens a text in Messages with your arrival time. With Pro you can add a live map link they can watch in a web browser, no app needed. If traffic makes you 10 or more minutes late, Everyroad offers to send them an update.

Where's the Everyroad iMessage app? In a conversation in Messages, tap the + button, then More, and choose Everyroad. From there you can send a convoy invite, your ETA, your map totals, or one of your road trips.

A convoy link opened a web page instead of the app. Tap Open in Everyroad on the page. If you don't have Everyroad yet, get it from the App Store, then tap Convoy and enter the code shown on the page.

How do I delete my account? Open Account and tap Delete Account. Your leaderboard entry is removed. Your map stays on your iPhone until you delete your history in settings or delete the app.

What comes with Everyroad Pro? Google turn-by-turn with live traffic, lanes and police alerts; Most New Road and Explore loops; road trips, Great Roads and weather along the route; the Garage and OBD2 readers; starting a Convoy and live map links; turn taps on Apple Watch; and every fog look. Open Settings › Everyroad Pro to see plans.

How do I restore or cancel Pro? Restore Purchases is on the Everyroad Pro screen. To cancel a subscription, open iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. The Road Trip Pass lasts 7 days and doesn’t renew.

My OBD2 reader won’t connect. Everyroad works with Bluetooth LE readers. Plug it in, turn the car on, and pick it in Garage › your vehicle › Connect an OBD2 Reader. Don’t pair it in the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings. Readers that only use classic Bluetooth can’t connect to an iPhone.

Does Everyroad use a lot of battery? Recording in the background uses more battery. Choose Battery Saver in Everyroad’s tracking settings to use less.
